This item is being sold for the employee holiday fund at the continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Maine where I live with my husband. All items are donated by the residents of the community and the net proceeds of all sales go to the fund that is distributed annually to the wonderful employees who help the many elderly residents here. I will give all the information I can about each item, but I am not the original owner. I have here a Vintage Mink Paw Fur Coat Honey Blonde (very light brown) in Color Small – Medium. This coat belonged to a woman who passed away last year and her husband has donated the coat. Another resident took it to a local furrier who said that it is mink paw and in excellent condition. I see two signs of wear: 1.) a slightly worn spot in the fur at the center back of collar (see pics) and 2.) a slight pull in the satin fabric of the lining. See the pics so you know the style, color and features. I am also showing some pics of me wearing the coat. I am 5’ 6” about 120 lbs. Facts about the coat: It came from Quincy Fur Shop in Quincy, Mass (which no longer exists)Coat is probably from the 1960s but that is just a guess (original owner born in 1939)Three hook & eye closures down the frontColor is a very light brown/honey blond color (see pics!!)Inside lining is sort of taupe colored satin and has “ML” monogrammed in it.Two signs of wear noted aboveIf purchased locally (in the metro Portland, ME area), a local furrier is throwing in a cleaning and conditioning of the coat – a $90 value!Not exactly sure of the size – I am 5’ 6” and about 120 lbs and it is slightly big on me but if I had a bulky sweater on, it would probably fit fine. It hits me just below the knee.The measurements as best as I can measure are:Shoulder to shoulder 17”Top of back of coat to bottom 41”Shoulder to cuff 22”Armpit to cuff 14” (these are very rough measurements) This coat would be great fun for any college student to where to a football game, so vintage!! I have many other interesting items up for sale (including a mink lined, fur trimmed women’s rain coat), many to benefit this wonderful employee fund.
